Resident Tattoo Artist
Steven McGinn
Steven brings a bold, comic-driven energy to Valhalla Studio’s line-up. Influenced heavily by graphic novels, anime and pop culture, his work balances punchy colour palettes with solid black foundations and clean, deliberate linework.
From vibrant neo-traditional characters to stylised portrait pieces and high-impact illustrative sleeves, McGinn’s tattoos are designed to stand out — saturated, graphic and built with movement in mind.
There’s a strong illustrative backbone to his work. Bold outlines, controlled colour packing and confident composition give his pieces a dynamic, almost animated quality. Whether working in full colour or high-contrast blackwork, his style leans expressive without losing technical discipline.
